So the following problem: last night I was still playing normally on the laptop and I always connected it to the battery because it is in gaming mode and otherwise draws a lot of battery without a battery, and yesterday evening it crashed and then had a black screen I switched it off (hold the ON / OFF button pressed for 3 seconds) and now as soon as I want to start it with the battery connected, it starts and the keyboard leds light up briefly but then it is in the blackscreen again, but if I then connected it without the battery start it starts normally and who it is already on, and then I connect it again blackscreen.
I have a Lenovo Legiob Y530-15ICH I5-8300H / 8GB / 1TB + 128GB. I'm really desperate I've only had the laptop for about 8 months and it wasn't cheap, is it broken?
Hy,
do you mean when you connect your power supply comes the black screen or when you remove the external battery from the laptop?
If it is the power supply that you mean, it may have a defect and generate a surge that your notebook can't process. Simply test or order a new power supply.
If you mean the battery that you take out of the notebook, it may also be defective. Of course, it can also be due to your motherboard that it has an error, it is difficult to say without more detailed information.
Could you look in your event display what error code is displayed if you look up the date and the time period when it happened.
