It's a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 with i5 CPU 3rd generation and 8GB of RAM.
… And he still works perfectly. Just had to change the keyboard last year, because the letters have been solved easily. See also no reason to buy me a new notebook. Oh yes… And I had to renew the battery, because the old has not lasted 30 minutes more.
The things like to keep 30 years, only a mechanical hard drive is usually broken after 8 years of continuous use.
It probably depends on how intensively the device is used… But on average, that will probably be 10-20 years with reasonably good intercourse
Except standard office user 3 years…
For standard office use, so as an example my parents. They are at a used thinkpad with win7 and SSD in it at 4 years. Note bought second hand.
Uh so used + 4 years, they still use that! Very successful
