I have had the Lenovo Campus ThinkBook 15 (1st Gen) 20SM002CGE with Windows 10 for almost 2 months. For a day now, it has not been able to turn on the power button.
To start it, I always have to press the reset button on the side with a paper clip. Then I get into the BIOS and start the laptop over it.
A fingerprint scanner is also built into the power button, it works mostly, but sometimes it doesn't work either.
Is the hardware defective or may it be due to the BIOS settings that I have not changed.
If you haven't changed anything, it sounds like a case for the technician / repairer.
