Call of Duty Warzone CPU performance drops below 1 GHZ?

Guys i need an expert.

I have a problem and I downloaded the game but it doesn't work properly I don't get 8 FPS or 12 sometimes in any case if it never exceeds 20 if it increases in the short term.

I made the lowest graphics setting and still I really tried everything and also tried to overclock the graphics card a bit but nothing worked, please help me.

After a lot of searching and checking, I found out from the Task Manager that the CPU clock rate drops from over 3.5 GHz to less than 1 but only with Warzone in other games and applications everything is normal only as soon as I open Warzone I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times I know net what to do

My laptop:

Lenovo Yoga 730

16GB Ram

GTX 1050

500 hrs

It is best if you use the Task Manager to find out what your processor is using and the best thing is to get a program where you can find out the temperature of your hardware. In general, it is not recommended to play such a shooter on a laptop that has already installed rather old hardware. It would also be interesting to know how old the laptop is. In general, CoD Warzone has a higher minimum requirement than its predecessor.

ho

What graphics settings are you playing warzone on and what resolution?

Op

At the lowest it has nothing to do with graphics the CPU clock is then only at warzone below 1 GHZ

Op

According to the hardware, it should be easy to do in 60 fps, but I played at the lowest, it has nothing to do with graphics

Yes, this most likely happens due to the temperature of your CPU, if it increases, the clock rate will decrease to prevent overheating, which is a little more likely with laptops than with PCs, since the ventilation is not so good. Download HWmonitor and see how warm your CPU will be at Warzone.

Op

Cpu temp when playing was between 50-65

fa

That doesn't sound bad, it shouldn't be because of that. What I could still imagine is that the clock rate is reduced to save energy. Check out the battery settings on Windows or even in your BIOS and switch off all power saving modes / change them appropriately.

Op

Yes I always have "best performance" it is only at Warzone so I play crossout at the highest setting no problem I understand the real net people have a cpu high usage at the game and with me low haha

fa

Check again in the advanced settings and in the BIOS, otherwise I'm getting a bit perplexed, it could be due to a new technology in the game or an error, you could maybe reinstall the game (if it's worth the time).

Look at screenshot

The cooling capacity is probably simply not sufficient and the processor has to slow down the clock in order not to overheat. Overclocking in particular could make this worse.

Check the temperatures of the GPU and CPU.

Update: I just saw that your laptop is probably using the wrong graphics chip. The 1050 doesn't seem to be busy, try setting the game to run on it.

Ma

Your CPU is simply overwhelmed and gets too hot, which means it throttles because you are using the wrong graphics chip.

According to your picture, your CPU has its own graphics unit, in short: APU, which is used for gaming. Both cause overload and therefore the drop.

You have to change your laptop or in the BIOS to use the GPU with your dedicated graphics card, i.e. Your 1660.

Then the problem should be solved

It's a gtx 1050 how should i do it in bios?

Op

Yes in the game setting you can see the gtx 1050
