I bought a new laptop (Lenovo ideapad L340) with a GTX 1650, i5 9300H, 8gb ram. Despite these specs, I experience it again and again and also relatively often lies. Graphics card drivers are up to date + graphics card is now also recognized by the game due to its own modification.
I no longer know what I could do about it now, I've bought a new laptop so that I can play these games on higher settings + more custom content.
Temperature problems maybe?
With my laptop from Lenovo, the cooling is a disaster. Performance would be there, but the cooling would not.
Meanwhile, monitor the temperatures.
The Sims 3 may not be running on the Nvidia either. Check that too.
So the graphics card is definitely recognized. Just didn't think Sims 3 could use the fans so much. Although I noticed that the cooling system is really not the best.
