I start studying architecture and want to get a notebook with which I can work quickly and efficiently. My budget is at max. 800 euro.
On the internet I found the lenovo thinkpad e590 (below the link)
Do you think that would be enough for my studies? Or do you have better experiences with other notebooks? What can you suggest to me?
Thanks in advance!
If you want to use CAD / Design / Rendering / 3D software, I would rather recommend a hp zbook (or similar mobile workstations from Dell or Lenovo). There are also refurbished models in your price range.
Could you perhaps suggest something to me?
Not a bad choice in my opinion - Lenovo Thinkpads are really cool.
The only thing that bothers me (but it is a bad habit, the manufacturer-spreading mischief) are these number blocks on the keyboards in 15 "notebooks. With the 15" widescreen notebooks are wide enough to accommodate a number pad. Unfortunately, you do not sit in the middle of the device when you write, but offset to the left. This annoys me a bit.
By being a student, Lenovo Campus also entitles you to shop for cheaper equipment - but you'll need to buy it from certain retailers.
I'm not really a PC expert, but I would not take Lenovo at all!
I have a Medion-Akoya (think the 8614?) Starter notebook with an i3, about 5 years old, but 18.3 inches, so that you do not look your eyes out of CAD's head (in the office I have a 32- incher).
At the present time, EVERY new notebook gets off to a flying start with CAD. Even when rendering I have no problems. Even with large buildings with furnishings, completely liquid and smooth.
Unfortunately, you can hardly find today 18.3-inchers - if then at abnormal prices…
E.g. Like this:

zBooks is synonymous smaller, if 17 "is too unportabel.
But you know that Medion belongs to 90% Lenovo?
Okay, sorry, that had to be.
But otherwise agree.
No I do not know. I'm not a PC specialist, as I wrote before.
But Lenovo looks (FOR MY TERMS!) And my PC specialist says that Lonovo repairs are always difficult… No idea…) I'm totally satisfied with my Medion, whether Lonovo now has Medion on the eggs or Not…
Should not be an attack or something, but in terms of hardware are now relatively the same, design is of course something else and a matter of taste, that's right.
Already clear.
