Mac book or laptop in landscape architecture?

I'm starting my studies in landscape architecture and I want to buy a laptop for my private life. Since I do not know what to expect during my studies or what programs I use there and what I have to do on my laptop or if I need one for my studies, I'll ask you here…

Is it worth a Macbook or is that rubbish?

Is nonsense. Normal notebook is enough.

So I do not need certain programs?

Almost certainly none that a MacBook has as a basis.

And a specific graphics card?

Depends on what you want to do with it outside of your studies. A decent one. Graphics card is never wrong.
