Data on SD card gone?

I have the following problem:

After my cell phone didn't work every now and then, I brought it to be repaired yesterday. Of course I got the SIM card and SD card with me when I gave back my cell phone. For the "transition period" until I have my cell phone back, I wanted to use our tablet. So I inserted both the Sim and the SD card there. It is shown to me that the tablet has recognized the SD card and you can also see the folder names, but the folders are all empty. Nevertheless, apparently 26 GB are occupied on the SD card. I tried the whole thing again on my laptop. Here, too, you can only see the folders, but no content and are also 26 GB occupied…

Now I wanted to know if any of you know what that is and whether my files (pictures / videos / music…) are simply lost, or you can somehow save them, or why they are not readable and what you can do about them.

I think it could be because you could encrypt the data on the cell phone where the SD card was inserted, and then it probably just doesn't show anything

So

Let recuva run over it. https://www.ccleaner.com/...com/recuva

And can I then read this data on another medium? Because the actual cell phone is still under repair

di

No, so if it doesn't work on the pc, it doesn't work

I have now done. It is displayed irretrievably everywhere. Is everything really lost or is there any way to save the data? And does anyone know how this can happen?

So

Wait for your phone to come back, maybe the data is really encrypted. If it doesn't work then the card is defective.
