Greetings to you dear ones
yesterday i put my sd card that was in my tray into my cell phone. Before that, I looked at all the files on the SD card that were on the SD card, but when I put the SD card in my cell phone, all the data was gone.
I also put the SD card in my laptop again, but I couldn't find the data there either. How does it work?
The files were about 5 GB in size… There were PDF and pictures on it, but now they are gone.
Does anyone have a plausible explanation for this?
When you put the SD card back in your tablet, will you see the files again?
Are you hiding? Or did you cut them out when copying them? That would be my first thoughts
The only thing I can think of is that your phone may have formatted the card. Then of course all data would be gone. When I switch on after inserting an SD card, my cell phone always asks whether the card should be formatted or used as a transport medium for data (i.e. As is). You may have accidentally specified the formatting.
I just tried it, but strangely they are gone too.
I just put my SD card back in my tablet, but they aren't there either.
Then I guess, as "Weissenegger" already wrote, that the SD card was formatted when it was inserted into the smartphone. So your data is unfortunately gone.
And are they not hidden either?
That is a good thought! Unfortunately I don't remember receiving such a message. I put it in and after that there was only a message that a storage medium was connected.
Uh, not that your mobile phone has a setting that SD cards are always formatted.
I had that in mind, but there was no hidden data either.
The card has probably broken! 🤷🏼♂️ I've had a card before… Couldn't see any data on a Mac or a Windows computer… But I could use a USB stick LINUX… I could copy my data and load it onto a new card!
Unfortunately my data has really been deleted, but I was able to restore the data with the Progtamm Ease US Data recovery. It's really amazing that there's such a program.
