Why does the newly laid LAN cable work on the laptop but not on the computer?

I have my computer normally always connected by wlan router directly to my pc… Now I have a cable moved to another room and connected to a cat 6 can… Now the lan cable works on my laptop but not on the computer.

What kind of outlet? One can't judge from here whether everything was connected correctly. In the worst case, the laptop has simply connected to the router via Wi-Fi, without even recognizing the cable, and you look in the wrong place for the error?
