I once bought WORD 2019 (license). Now I would like to edit (fill in) a longer PDF on the laptop.
However, my Word shows me the boxes as Ü, and I can't work on them either. Now to the question: Can something be changed in the settings? Ooo or do I have to live with having spent money on NIX again?
There are more mistakes in there, just wanted to highlight the worst.
Word is not very good at editing pdfs.
You don't need a Microsoft product just to fill out PDF files (forms) on the PC. This is better done with a PDF tool like Adobe PDF reader or LibreOffice (both free).
If the forms are displayed incorrectly ("Ü" instead of boxes), does it seem to me that a suitable character set is missing?
