You just have to plug the stick into your TV, log in, connect to the Wi-Fi network and you're done. At least that's how it was with me.

If you buy a Smart TV then you do not need a stick, and the stick is if you want to use it's.TV inserted in the HDMI jack, the stick then only needs a wireless connection.
