I'm considering buying the MacBook Air with an M1 chip, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Do you know Windows notebooks that have a similar or better performance? It should be a maximum of 15 inches and weigh no more than 1.7kg. In addition, it shouldn't cost more than 1500 euro, that's the price I would have to pay for the Air thanks to a discount. The notebook should mainly be used for image processing but also for some video editing with 4k files.

Schenker VIA 15 Pro (2x8GB Crucial 3200MHz, without SSD because too expensive in the configurator)

I mean that the Matebook 14 itself with the Ryzen 7 is slower than the MacBook due to the integrated graphics unit. But maximum performance is important to me due to the future security.
I would rather orient myself in that direction.
However, the display is significantly worse.
Do you happen to know a notebook that meets my requirements with an RTX card?
With its RTX it gets harder and / or more expensive
I would probably most likely take that.

Would you rather recommend the MacBook or the Blade? Size and weight are important but not essential. If I take the MacBook I would have to keep my current laptop. I haven't been to the Apple universe yet.
Which display is worse compared to which one?
The Matebook has a worse display than the MacBook Air. Just compare the resolution.
Doesn't exist, there's currently no alternative to the M1.
Hmm well I would think of a high end ThinkPad but the M1 is apple exclusive
I would buy an mbp and run oldschool over Bootcamp Windows. You don't have the M1 but the mbp is still better in terms of performance
The M1 is superior to all Intel MacBooks.
The M1 is an in-house development by Apple on an ARM basis, now and always Apple only. It may be that MS makes the effort to change Win for it, but it is uncertain.
