For my communication design studies I need a new laptop, for my performance it is clearly MacBook Pro instead of Air. However, I'm not sure whether with a 1.4 GHz processor and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB memory or a 2.4 GHz processor and 16GB RAM with 256GB? Or would something even work in between?
I would just take a look at what performance requirements the software you are planning to install on the system has on the system.
But you should also be aware that Apple notebooks can't be upgraded afterwards.
And last but not least: what budget is available?
It should be an Intel multi-core processor with 64 bits and at least 6.5 GB of free hard disk space, as well as 8 GB of RAM - so it is more likely to amount to 16 GB of RAM or not? Let's say it doesn't necessarily have to be over 2000 euro…
And which program makes these demands?
