Do many professionals use Macbooks because they are supported by Apple?

Hi

Is it part of Apple's business philosophy to make the products look professional, by including influencers and other "important" people, sometimes more and sometimes less directly, with Apple products?

clear the OS is better than windows. But the hardware is only "enhanced", so to speak, since sound processing and optimized OS code allow "little more to be done".

I recently got a MacBook Pro 16 "with basic equipment. I think: You just have to drop this laptop with the display open and the display breaks off the hinges. How else is the advertised longevity to be understood? The case looks durable, but otherwise are the same components inside as in Windows computers. And after a certain number of write cycles of the SSD, can you throw away the MacBook?

In addition, even with minimum load and despite the SSD, you can hear soft squeaking noises that can be heard from a distance of 10/15 cm.

Apple support not. They don't need that.

I don't think Apple just has good software and nice minimalist design. I also think that few people see it as flex, like eg. Mercedes.

Practically every notebook can break if you drop it open. Unless you have a rugged model.

Why do I have a Macbook myself? That I don't always have to gaze nonstop in Windows.

Many will likely have an iPhone or iPad, and MacBook will be more compatible. MacBooks are also really very good in terms of quality.

The longevity relates to the hardware. All around me I have Macs from 2004, 2009, 2011 and 2014. Running 24/7. Zero failures so far, except for the 2004 DoPro-G5 (power supply). If that were PCs, they would have been scrapped long ago.
