Do all models of Apple MacBook iMovie?

Unfortunately, I do not know anything about Apple products and wanted to get a used laptop from Apple. I need one for video editing, but I do not know if all MacBooks have iMovie.

Because I wanted to get an older one, so it is cheaper, because I really only want to use it for video editing. Is there perhaps an Apple experts among you, who knows which model is the best but still cheap is? I wonder if that is problematic with updates if I get an older MacBook.

Hope somebody already has experience with macbooks and can help me there.

Some Macs already have iMovie installed. If not, iMovie is available for free on the App Store.

Which Mac one needs depends on the requirements. Low-resolution videos (eg PAL 768 x 576 pixels) are usually easy to edit. If the resolution of current requirements such as 4k correspond, you need a fast processor (i7), a lot of RAM and possibly a SSD instead of hard disk.

If you want to create effects (complex crossfades, effects) you can quickly get stuck. So it's also a matter of patience.
