In my MacBook pro 2020 (half a year old) the logic board had to be changed, because the laptop no longer worked without a power supply and did not charge either, luckily everything was under guarantee.
Now my question: How can it happen that the logic board breaks overnight? Did I do something wrong? I'm concerned that this can happen again.
PS: The problems started after I updated to MacOS big sur, could it have been related to that?

No, at an authorized Apple dealer in my city and when I picked it up I didn't think to ask how it could break in the first place
I can tell you for sure that the whole logic board isn't broken. Apple or Authorized Apple Shops only say that. Most of the time it's just a minor bug, like a chip or a broken capacitor. They just want you to buy a new mac Book right away and not have your current one repaired. Unfortunately, in this case you became a victim of the rip-off that Apple operates with their "repair". There are countless customers who have had their entire logic board replaced even though just one cable was broken?
Okay, thanks then I'm "reassured" that I apparently didn't do anything wrong and fortunately for me it was under the guarantee.
