I have the following problem:

I have a total of 3 terminals (laptop + PC + Macbook) and 3 receivers (3 screens). Now I only need the respective device individually (work, school, leisure). Is there an HDMI switcher where I can plug in an HDMI cable from each end device (input), as well as an HDMI cable from each screen and then switch the input device at the push of a button on the switcher?

S = switcher

All three screens (3 HDMI outputs on the switcher)

So that you can switch between 1, 2 and 3 manually on the switcher.

Short logic question, but you are already aware that you don't get a desktop on 3 screens with a cable. For that you usually need 3 cables to the graphics card.

so what exactly do you want

3 inputs and 3 outputs and 1 input should you then have a large desktop on 3 outputs? Or should they all display the same thing, so copy

I understand it to mean that each of your 3 end devices should be able to play on all 3 monitors.
So e.g. From the Macbook to all 3 monitors.

How is that supposed to go through a single HDMI output?
With a splitter you would have the same picture on all 3 screens.
Is it that what you want?
That should be realizable.

In order to "expand" the monitors, as it is called in Windows (so that you can record each monitor separately), you need 3 outputs on the respective graphics cards.
