Since I recently tried to install the latest update on my MacBook, it has been in the boot loop and can no longer be switched on. I've already tried everything and had it checked out by professionals. The diagnosis: Error installing the update due to a defect in the hard drive.
Since my laptop is only worth an estimated 350 euro, I'm not sure whether it is worth repairing. How much would such a repair cost approximately?
Do it yourself. A new hard drive is estimated to cost 100 euro. Inform yourself beforehand. The Retina MBP no longer have a SATA drive, but a different one.
I would go to the Apple dealer with the MacBook and ask what they mean. The people here can only guess in the dark.
10 minutes of work that you can do yourself.
But first get the right tool (P5 Pentalobe and T5 Torx) and a compatible M.2 SSD or a standard M.2 and the necessary adapter.

Adapter e.g. https://www.amazon.de/...07S9Q6TCN/ or https://www.amazon.de/...B087JLDTBK It seems that these things only work safely with the SSDs listed in the respective description.
