Is a MacBook Air (2017) still worth it?

My question is pretty simple. I have the opportunity to buy a new Macbook Air (2017) for just under 750 euro. Never had a MacBook before and therefore have no experience. That's why I wanted to contact a few people with more know-how. Do you think this is a good price and it is worthwhile to get the 2017 version now. Or would you prefer another laptop for the money?

Check out the condition and the battery. If the device has been used intensively for 2 years, then it may well be that the battery is already quite broken. An Ultrabook with bad battery does not use a lot.

As we have almost 2020, in the Air is technology of 4 years ago and a known problem with the keyboard. Even more recent models were long ago here and there for 777 euro to have and since the things from the camps must be 750 euro and not the blast, but rather normal. And I would not buy a computer that does not even have FullHD today.

At 750 euro, it will be a new device from the current stock sales.

Currently you get the MacBook Air new from 1.250 euro. After 2 years 500 euro cheaper for me sounds rather used.

First, the question should be whether you ever go on the Mac rail or want to stay there.

In general, Windows machines can be the same as MAC machines as well.

MAC calculators are only interesting if you use or want to use MAC exclusive programs, or because you work in an environment that often uses MAC calculators and therefore you are professionally driven to MAC.

From the pure hardware MAC calculators are often not worth their money, and also the support by Apple is not so much better than that one should put down a corresponding additional price.

But you can't compare the MAC notebooks with the cheap consumer notebooks from the Windows rail, because the materials used are higher quality and more comparable to robust business notebooks, which are also more expensive (if you consider the pure computing power / hardware equipment).

In general, but I think of the MAC Book Air little to nothing and also of the Ultrabooks where you can't even swap the battery or remove can I think nothing. The life of the battery is usually the element of the notebook which usually leads to a new purchase.
