I would like to get a laptop soon. Since I'm an Apple fanatic, I would of course buy a MacBook. But now I can't decide between the 2017 MacBook Pro and the 2017 MacBook Air. Price wise, these are not far apart, so I'm actually thinking the 100 euro more, I do not make it anymore but on the other hand, I find the Touch ID on the Air better. But now to my use: I'm currently in a school education and am in an iPad class, but we can also use MacBooks and I also write reports and tasks rather on a PC or laptop. After this schooling I would like to go to college. So now my question: is it worth the new Air or should I prefer to invest in the old Pro?
Although I basically do not think that Macs are worthwhile at all, unless you rely on software that runs only on MacOS, but then clearly the MBP.
The Air is a 5W dual-core, a device that has not lost anything in this price range looks pretty, is certainly a great hipster utensil, but there are phones that cost less than half and have more powerful processors…
The Air is a bit thinner & lighter… Pro has more power…
