In early 2019, I bought a MacBook Pro. I'm very happy with it and ask you not to run Apple-bashing / Hate. It is all about exchange.
I desperately needed a new laptop and bought my first Macbook. Before, I never had an Apple device and now I do not want to change anymore. However, the new model of MacBook Pros came out just after 2 months (2019 with touchbar). I bought the Macbook 2017 without a touchbar.
Basically, the touchbar is not important to me, but there were a few changes anyway. And I'm honest: Did not realize that there should be a new version.
By the Saturn insurance (Bin Saturn customer in the black Lvl) I have premium plus protection for 3 years extra. If anything happens the damage will be repaired, in case of full damage the device will be replaced. - I wonder if my laptop will eventually be replaced with the new model and how Apple shows goodwill? Of course I will not scrape my laptop on purpose, but it would be interesting to know.
Would it otherwise make sense to sell it again, put a few euro on it and get me the 2019er model?

Hi
Saturn only swaps the device for the device that is broken. If you do not have the device then you will refund the purchase price.
But I think that Saturn will probably have 2017 MacBooks he could give you if yours should break.
No, there's no current model in exchange. The dealers are still sitting on the almost 3 years old devices and put them constantly in sale offers, so there's probably enough exchange goods. Incidentally, the 19er model has even greater heat problems than its predecessor, the thing is loaded, it clocks down and brings no improvement in speed. In addition, the 19er still has the crippled keyboard, which is very quickly broken - meanwhile, Appel has seen and repaired that for free.
The only thing you could do you could send your macbook to apple and then save you about 300-400 euro when buying the new macbook
