If I create a new Microsoft account will all my apps go away on the laptop?

I have a problem:

I forgot my Microsoft account. I also tried to restore it, but to no avail. So if I really have to create a new Microsoft account, I ask myself what happens to my laptop, e.g. All apps or the software or something?

Call Microsoft Support. If you have paid something etc. You can prove that. Actually they are very friendly.
