Windows does not start after installing the graphics card driver?

I now had to reinstall Windows umpteen times because it no longer started correctly after installing a graphics card driver. Why? I found a very old laptop that I want to use. The graphics card is the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600. The driver was of course not pre-installed when I reinstalled the operating system. That's why I installed it. The driver only works on Windows 7 32 bit. And that is also the operating system that I installed. But it still doesn't work. Just as it crashed with Windows 10 32 bit, it also happens here. What's the problem please? I've been working on it for days and finally "normalizing" this resolution of the screen. Can someone help me please? You're welcome

Either all updates are missing (service pack for windows 7 etc), or your graphics card really has a change. Very old laptop, if the graphics card can no longer manage the modes, that's just scrap. Another possibility would be that there's no electricity, which I can't do with a laptop, so it can be heat because it's an old laptop. As soon as it switches to 3D mode, there's significantly more power and everything possible from the graka chips is used, if there's a malfunction you only notice it then.

try an older linux. If it goes the same way, it will be the graphics card that simply doesn't allow any more steam.

You have to search for and install an older and suitable graphics driver for Go7600 (version v180_70 or later). You are not alone with this problem.
