I have an idea but do not know how to do it, and I want to install Windows on the laptop that's easy but now it comes I want to install Windows 10 on the big pc but use it on the laptop at home

how can I get 2 operating systems to run on 1 pc and 2 is bootable via the network? Or does a domain have to exist?

Sorry if I explain it in such a complicated way but otherwise I don't get it explained.

You would need an external PXE server (with DHCP and TFTP) for this. The whole thing is very freaky, but doable. I run such a network in my apartment for the two office PCs (my girlfriend's and mine) because I wanted to save costs. Everyone can log on to any PC.

How is that possible?

First of all you need a server. It should also have some performance.

And then you would have to configure Windows Server as a terminal server, which is difficult even for experienced IT professionals. In addition, there are the license costs for the RDS CALs and Windows Server (~ 900 euro), and the server itself (300-2000 euro).

Otherwise you probably don't want to set up a company network. With Linux as OS (on both sides) this is easily possible. Difficult with Win.

The severely restricted Windows is of course unsuitable for installing an operating system on many computers. I take Mint 19.3 Cinnamon, which can do more, is free of charge and can be legally installed and used as often as you like.

If 2 operating systems are to be installed on one PC, this is very easy to do with Linux. As a second operating system, simply boot Linux Mint from DVD or USB, then click Install on the Linux desktop, confirm 5x ok - that's it. From now on you can choose what starts with every computer start. Incidentally, Mint is usable like Win7 - rather a little easier, since there are no restrictions with the ingenious Linux and no virus scanner is required.

A network boot is not necessary thanks to the good handling of Linux.

Give it a try.
