Windows 10 in dual boot on MBR hard drive?

I have already read several instructions and forums and still haven't found any clear information. Hence my question: Is it possible to install Windows 10 in addition to the old Windows 7 (which I still need for individual programs) in a dual boot on a common MBR hard drive? I tried an installation DVD, but I get the message that it is not possible on MBR. Elsewhere I read that with a specially formatted USB installation stick it is also possible to install on an MBR partition. I have an older notebook with the usual BIOS.

So

Format normally (NTFS, MBR, 2 partitions). Then it goes without problems.
