Volume down windows on the laptop?

I don't think it works unless you change the volume using the slider in the taskbar. I would try.

Windows does not offer any way of deactivating this. It works with additional software called HideVolumeOSD.

However, it always runs in the background, which I would rather see as a disadvantage instead of simply ignoring the OSC.

You just have to press the Fn key and the volume symbol - depending on the model, it is assigned to a different key (F1 - F12).

As I understand it, the whole music bar is in the picture all the time, right?
