Since yesterday evening my Windows key and the first 3 function keys (the one for the volume) on my Asus laptop no longer work. I also can't select the small Windows symbol in the corner with the cursor, because nothing happens. Is there a lock on the keyboard where I could accidentally be struck? (I've already tried the FN key below, between Ctrl and the Windows key, that's not the reason.)
I have no idea how to adjust the volume or shut down my computer.
(I haven't installed any new software or uninstalled old ones in the last few months)
In the worst case scenario, this is an ancient bug in Windows.
Please try another user. If it works there, then it is him.
Create a new user, there it goes. Copy all settings of the account to the new user.
Try to see if everything works. Use it.
After a sufficient trial period, you delete the problem user.
