I have to run a video presentation on my laptop. I've been through this a lot now and now and then a pop-up program (such as virus scanners or similar) just opens by itself and then interrupts my video presentation. I'm now afraid that something like that happened during my talk.
Can you turn it off somehow?
Finish the virus scanner for the time of the presentation. LG
Take programs from the autostart or Kill the process of each program.
Mute the startup folder.
Just finish everything that could lead to interruptions. And maybe not install any virus programs. If they make pop-ups, they're mostly rubbish. The Windows Defender is quite enough.
Also turn off the Windows updates. This can be done for a short time if you have the latest version of Windows (1903)
