Is there a way to use an external pen to use every laptop as a 2in1 laptop or do I have to get a 2in1?

Have an old laptop and would like to have a bit of a mark on it, but if you don't have a touch, there are some external means to change it

• you buy a touchscreen display and fiddle with it in your laptop

• you buy a graphics tablet and connect it to your laptop

If the laptop does not support touch, this is not possible via the laptop. However, you can buy a graphics tablet. On this you can then use the PC characters.

And how should the pen know where you are currently on your display without a touch sensor?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, you can't just install a touch screen or something. Another possibility would be to use a drawpad. I have one from Wacom myself and can only be recommended.

The cheapest a graphics tablet to connect via USB
An external screen with touch function is connected to HMDI and USB
With an airbar approx. 80 euro

There's still the AirBar

With an airbar to plug in, it should be inexpensive.

While searching, I came across the AirBar which is infectious and can turn the display of the laptop into a touch display.
