How do I move (do NOT copy) files?

I have a video file of the internal hard drive. This will now be moved to an external, already connected to the notebook, hard drive. Of course I can copy, and then delete. But also without this "detour"?

Under Windows in file manager: right click, cut. At the destination then right click, paste.

You can cut, right-click or ctrl + x and then ctrl + v at the destination
