I wanted to order a laptop from Microsoft and the term "certified recycled" suited me.
Every Microsoft certified remanufactured device meets the same standards as a brand new product.
So it tells me it's brand new? But what was recycled there? So was that a second-hand product? Should I have any concerns about purchasing?
It's like a used car from the dealer who guarantees that the car is in order. You can save a lot with it, but it's just used and not the very latest.
Personally, I only buy laptops and monitors that are "refurbished" and pay maybe a third to half of the new price.
Then did you have any problems with the refurbished laptops? Abnormalities, technical errors or similar?
No, everything is fine.
I think it's more of an image question: if you want the latest and greatest, it's not for you. The rest goes quite well with it.
Even if I wasn't addressed now. I have a refurbished thinkpad. The part has a small green pixel in the display. In operation, however, this is not really noticeable. But the part was very cheap and works perfectly!
