Don't you have a manual with you? I had bought a smartphone last year and couldn't get around at all. The brief description was too short. 3 symbols were explained.

Then I downloaded the corresponding manual from the Internet, there are 3 A 4 pages in it just with symbols.

Maybe you try that for your notebook too. I'm afraid every model has different ones, and not many people may know them.

In the photo I can only see the bottom one, for switching on and off. In the middle that, perhaps, shows how strong or weak the reception is.
