Schonmal thanks for the answers! ^^

And it is so that I have bought a notebook - a normal.

I heard that ssd's make the laptop faster and would like to buy one but what is the difference between a ssd hdd and sd?

I have a slot on the laptop -so it looks like the card comes in or am I wrong?

And how do I use this ssd etc? So I just have to put it in and you're done or do I have to copy everything to the ssd hdd etc?

HDD = hard disk, slower than SSD and more for mass data save as games for example

SSD = flash memory (if that's right), fast, system starts up fast and is more for Office or for gamimg pc if you just have the operating system installed on it

SD = are small memory cards mostly for cameras

Ba

SSD Solid State Drive → Simply put, comparable to a USB stick, but much more complex. Features: Very fast, small and light, no moving parts

HDD Hard Disk Drive → Slower than a SSD Because: "Hard Disk" there are "discs" on which the data is stored and read, there's simply a limit set by the speed (Physical)
Features: slower than SSD, much cheaper with much more space at the same time.

An SD is a memory card similar to a USB stick for cameras, cell phones etc.

Basically, if you do not know what you are doing, keep your hands off and ask someone who knows. Of course, if you change your hard drive, you will need to back up your data and, unless it's on a 2nd hard drive, reinstall the operating system or mirror the hard drive, but that's not necessarily for beginners.

What you bracuht, first an installation medium for the operating system.

Then you have to open the laptop where the HDD was built and swap the SSD. Then install the operating system. Finds everything in the "most" online manuals of the laptop.

If you want to take over data recovery or operating system then that will be more complicated. This is sometimes easy to make if you have another computer.

Data could also be made via the SD slot, but usually not the operating system.
