I got a monitor and connected it to my laptop via DVI-HDMI, but the resolution is far too small for the monitor and I can't make the resolution larger than 1366 x 768. Can you help me somehow?

Usually you can set it under Windows, unless your laptop can no longer spend. What kind of laptop do you have?
If it is the maximum resolution, you can't change it

There's nothing to the output, but since it only has 786p, it can apparently no longer output
Right click on the desktop display setting and then select the resolution there. If the display is played and the laptop has a different resolution than the monitor, the lower resolution is used. If you expand the display, both can have different resolutions. Or you can just use the new monitor and leave the laptop screen blank.
If you still have problems, a screenshot of the display setting would be helpful.
As already mentioned here, is no longer possible.
