CS: GO smoother, eh?

I recently downloaded CS: GO and would like to play it now, but it lags every now and then and I wanted to ask what I could do about it in order to be able to play reasonably smoothly with a laptop.

Pi

Set to 4: 3.

ge

Lower resolution and generally lower the graphics would be the first

Thanks for the quick answer, I'll try that out right away. Where exactly in the settings can I find it then?

Fr

What kind of laptop do you have? So technical data might be very helpful.

Be

Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i3-5005U CPU @ 2.00GHz, 2000 MHz, 2 core (s), 4 logical processor (s), graphics card Intel HD 5500 2x. Where can I see the RAM?

Fr

Either in the task manager or in Windows under Settings → Info

But as far as cpu and graphics card are concerned, you should be able to play smoothly on 1080p.

What one could try would be to lower the graphics settings.

What helped me with another game, to switch directx 12 to directx 10.1 or 11. I had big problems with GTA V.

What about your internet connection, it's an online game.

Pi

Uh sry for the late reply. But should somehow be up in the graphics settings unfortunately just can't look up: /

Internet connection itself would have to fit, then check ingame

Otherwise I wouldn't think of much more quickly.

What can still be, since it is a laptop and since the ventilation is usually worse than with a desktop, as are the temperatures. If it gets too hot, the CPU, GPU, or APU also slow down. This can lead to a loss of performance. It's best to check the temperatures while playing with core temp, Hhomework monitor or MSI Afterburner.
