Some time ago I got a laptop that is defective. When you connect the power supply, the power LED lights up immediately, and pressing the start button does not change anything. The drive remains quiet and can't be opened. The laptop does not have a battery. RAM is soldered to the mainboard. When it gets power (19.5V from a modular power supply, which has worked with other laptops) about 2V arrive on the fan line and this does not change either. The cable from the power supply connector to the mainboard is divided into 3 lines, but they are intact. The BIOS battery is charged enough and I replaced it and reset the BIOS. Is it now defective? Is it worth it to bake?
Because my last laptop ended up like that too and knows from the PC-Doc what was broken with mine, I suspect that in your case the motherboard is also over.
Do you think the motherboard is worth baking?
To bake? Do you mean put it in the oven or like now?
