My laptop is now 10 years old, I want to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 the problem is on the manufacturer side, there are no drivers for Windows 10 that means that I have to throw the laptop away in the bin?

Le

Too good for the bin. But you can continue to use it with a Linux variant without any problems

An

No you don't have to. Windows gets its drivers itself, if you have no problems everything is fine.

Pl

You can usually continue to use the drivers for Windows 7.

Fr

But still works.

Br

Where can I download linux?

What kind of laptop do you have? I have four laptops, 11 years old, on which WIN10 runs without any problems…

Br

I got the laptop from the manufacturer HP ProBook 4510s, but there's not a single driver for Windows 10

Le

You can try it out as a live version first, without changing anything on the computer.

to do this, you take a USB stick and load e.g. This program down and keirt a bootable stick with which you can experiment a little

Have you ever tried to install WIN10? WIN10 actually looks for its drivers in the network itself…

Br

No have not tried it, really that's new to me that it looks for a driver by itself
