Good Windows 10 tablet for students and for travel?

Meanwhile my school (Corona has not only bad sides:-)) also dares to take the step into digitality and advises us students to buy a tablet for the next school year. Now it is the case that I would also like to replace my current laptop, which is now 5 years old and where the performance is now too little for my requirements.

Does anyone have any recommendations for me? (less than 1000 euro)

I would like to do this with the device: schoolwork on the go (in the S-Bahn), image editing, and 4k video editing while traveling. (So should already have something under the hood…). If possible, the display should also be larger than 12 inches.

I have already looked at the Surface Book 2 15 ". But with its 1500 euro, the price is already very steep

I would recommend a model of the '' Surface Pro ". It is a tablet and laptop in one. As far as I know it is also just over 12 inches and it should also be useful for video editing. In addition, you could also use the Surface Pen buy to take notes on your 2in1 laptop if necessary.
