I have an old Windows 7 laptop at home. Could it hurt the laptop if I download League of Legends on it?
It can't hurt unless you have very little storage space because if so the laptop will be very slow
Thanks
The laptop will not get any damage ^^
Depending on the age and the performance of the laptop, the game will probably not run smoothly and be unplayable. Since you haven't mentioned any specs, I can't say much. You can try it.
What are specs?
Which graphics card which cpu ram etc.
make windows + r write dxdiag chic screen
Specifications, that is, what is built into the box.
The hardware arrives too, but lol doesn't have that big a requirement. Look at the mind requirement of lol
RAM: 2 GB.
Processor: 2 GHz.
Graphics card: Compatible with Shader 2.0.
Operating system: Windows Vista with SP 3 and all newer Windows versions.
Hard disk: 8 GB.
Here is a tip from me:
If games run jerkily on it, there's also a solution how you can continue to use an old laptop without spending any money. In addition, there's no longer support for Windows 7.
I would recommend installing the PrimeOS operating system on this laptop. This is an Android operating system adapted to PCs and laptops with a start menu and task bar. It is adapted to the keyboard and mouse. You can run multiple apps side by side in windows. PrimeOS runs much faster than Windows because it requires less system resources.
Here is the download: https://primeos.in/download/ PrimeOS Classic is for 32bit processors and PrimeOS standard for 64bit processors. The mainline version is for PCs and laptops built in 2014 or higher and 64bit.
Then flash the downloaded ISO with Rufus https://rufus.ie/ onto an empty formatted USB stick. Then boot the stick on the old PC / laptop. The installer offers the possibility to flatten everything.
After completing the installation and starting it for the first time, it is set up. The Google Play Store is available. Here is a video of what it looks like:
