How to choose the primary screen with 2 screens?

My laptop is screen # 1 and has been selected as the main display.
However, on my screen 2 is all the desktop apps and so on… How can I change that the entire desktop content remains on my laptop (screen 1; checked for "Use this display as main display") and not always on mine when connected second screen wander.
