Minecraft Java Edition has not worked for 4 days, I de-reinstalled it and restarted the laptop… It just doesn't work! Is that the same with you? If so, does anyone know why or what I can do about it?

Would say you delete your .minecraft folder. Make a backup of your worlds beforehand. Then the whole game will be reinstalled, should then work again

Uninstall Java times and reinstall it. Java is available here: https://adoptopenjdk.net/ This is OpenJDK, the open source version of Java. It is 100% compatible with Oracle Java.
