Formula 1 2019 with this laptop?

F1 2019 (video game) is currently free on Steam and I wanted to buy it afterwards. However, the laptop is quite busy.

Laptop: Intel Core I7- 7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Can I play it and if so which settings do I need in the game so that the laptop is not overloaded?

I would not recommend it to you, the codemasters f1 games have been poorly optimized for pc's for some years. Even people with monster pc's sometimes have to struggle with screen freezes and crashes. You can of course get it anyway and see which settings it runs properly, but don't expect too much.
