My laptop (in use for about 6 months) has recently had some problems:
(on Windows 10 Home, Version 2004)
1) The sound does not work, neither through the loudspeaker of the laptop nor through headphones. Error message: audio services are not responding. Help from the Internet did not help. The only thing I haven't tried is to completely reset Windows, that's just the absolute last option.
2) a few days later the display shows the wrong time. With "set automatically" nothing changes.
3) Almost at the same time, the internet connection also stopped working. Usually the laptop is connected to a Wi-Fi, but suddenly it can no longer find any wireless networks. I clicked Network Reset, but it didn't have any positive effects.
4) to save an important piece of work, I wanted to copy a Word file to my usb stick, but suddenly this no longer works.
Sounds like a pretty nasty Trojan. Do you have a scanner that you can run over it?
The mainboard will probably have a tough time there. To check, you could also try this with a live operating system.
