Unfortunately my SD card does not open. Since I urgently need to edit video material, I need a solution. On my CANON, however, open all files, ie videos and pictures. It opens a window indicating that I can import the pictures and videos to the laptop, but if I click on it nothing happens and the laptop hangs completely. I can't access the folder in the explorer because it only loads (see picture)
How is the SD connected to the laptop? U.U. Does the reader have a way. Theoretically, you would have to connect the Canon directly to the laptop and then try. If it still hangs, try the whole thing in the command prompt:
Start → Run → cmd
Copy LaufwerDerKamera: \ *. * C
Has the camera, something like a USB mode in the menu?
Is the card reader in the laptop maybe outdated and can't do anything with newer cards? Maybe look on the manufacturer side of your laptop for new firmware for the card reader.
Otherwise, get a cheap NEN card reader with USB port and try it with it. Or plug the camera via USB to the PC.
As far as I do not know. Why?
