My colleague needs urgent help. He already has from the screen where you must enter password 2fps. But it certainly is not on the hardware. The Recovery CD does not synonymous automatically so if you have a solution because I would be very happy.

Most important point - do not panic.
With Linux, the system is quickly restored. Boot from the Mint DVD Live (ESC, F12 … Boot button as soon as the first picture appears), first save important data to a USB disk with the file manager and then select the install icon on the elegant desktop to reinstall Mint. The operating system will run again in one hour, safe and well equipped.
The ISO image of the operating system DVD is available free of charge and legally on linuxmint.com
In every Linuxzeitung an operating system Live DVD is pasted (for free), there Win should cut off a disk.
A key or virus scanner is not necessary for high-quality operating systems.
Mint may be installed on any number of computers and has in contrast to the scanty Win everything on board what I needed. The operation is like XP.
