Laptop pictures deleted but still on desktop?

Dear Community,

after using the pictures saved on my desktop, I wanted to remove them again. As with any other picture or file, I went to delete normally. Since then, however, the images on my desktop haven't completely disappeared. It can't be opened or moved to another folder. They're just there and they just don't want to go away. (See image)

Since I'm an orderly person, you can imagine how much that bothers me!

How do I finally get these files removed?

Try one thing:

Right mouse on the desktop >> Refresh

Should then be gone, unless these are protected, then you have to remove the protection first.
