I got Minecraft on Windows 10 but it's bugged for me. To be more precise, for me it is red and it has been flickering since I reset my laptop. It used to work, now somehow it doesn't work anymore. I also don't get into the lobby (where you can choose with skin etc…) but it's red and flickers black.
What kind of minecraft did you get?

Ram full? How much ram do you have? Can it be because of that? Otherwise you just have a bad processor. What kind of laptop do you have? Sorry for the many questions.
If not the Ram, then delete the game and just download it again.
It is also possible that you have used a shader that is too strong

Did you download and install the correct java version?
The ram is your main memory. A buffer, so to speak. The size of a ram is different for every computer, there are 4,8,16,32 but 32 is very, very strong. A normal computer has 8-16. If you have 4 (which I don't think) it can be harder to play Minecraft. But just take a look.
