8GB ram laptop, but can only use 5.9GB?

I ordered a new laptop (Windows 10 64 bit) and when I go to Task Manager I see that I have only 5,9GB maximum. I looked up and was shown (in PC information) that I have 8GB Ram installed, but only 5.9 GB can use. With me it is indicated that mainly for the hardware from the Ram forth is reserved or 2GB.Was shocked me eig because my friend's laptop only eats 15Mb of hardware. My laptop has 4Gb soldered and 4GB 1 slot, so I think 4x2GB DDR4.

Hardware: Amd ryzen 5 3500U, AMD radeon vega 8 graphics

Yes that is unfortunately so I have in my pc 16 GB but can only use 13 that has windowas reserved for themselves!

The memory is taken away from the graphics card.
this is on the processor and subtracts the memory from memory.
This can't be changed, so you have to live.

Probably used by the Ryzen APU. Since the integrated unit of the Ryzen does not have its own Vram, Ram is used

Ed

But can I still play games that need more than 8GB Ram?

Ed

Will I still be able to play games that need at least 8GB Ram?

bu

If the graphics card of the notebook takes part, that should not be a problem.

With a Vega 8 it might be difficult to get a good frame rate, but that's not because of the RAM.

Okay I get max settings in League of Legends averaging 80 to 100 fps, how many FPS would I get in Battlefield V? With 15W not with 25W

bu

I can't tell you exactly.

According to this website, you will not get very far.

Do you have to look? Games that have 8Gb specified do not necessarily consume 8GB. Just try

Wa

You can fold all Triple AAA Games. Games like CS, LoL, possibly Overwatch, Team Fortress and Rocket League should run
