I can't get visual contact via Skype?

I have no visual contact with my wife and her laptop via Skype.

The curious thing is that I don't see her but I hear her, she sees and hears me.

Need help to get started. I do not understand the help from Skype

Camera not activated (see Skype settings), cam taped…

Skype may want to reduce data transmission because the servers are currently unable to keep up with all the "calls". Just one possible theory. I have no evidence ^^
